Hello Fitness Enthusiasts!
It might be time for a change. If you ever wondered why you are not achieving your goals, or why your progress is halted, you are not alone. Many people reach plateaus in life, where it seems like you are just endlessly roaming, without ever reaching new heights. This could happen in your professional life, your personal life, and even your fitness journey - Especially your fitness journey. You are not alone, and it might be time for a change.
There are many ways to stagnate in fitness. You might be halfway to your weight loss goal, for example. Or you maybe you have been training for years and have not gotten any stronger. This is not uncommon. It is a result of the body’s natural adaptation to the workouts that we do. What used to be difficult is no longer difficult, and the body no longer needs to adapt to it. Or maybe you are training too hard, too often, and not allowing your body to fully recover between workouts. In both cases, the answer is the same. It’s time to make a change to your workout regimen.
Now, this change doesn’t need to be drastic. For example, maybe, even though you have been dieting for months, you haven’t yet eliminated added sugar (sugar in processed foods, or sugar in foods where sugar is not supposed to be present) from your diet. If you want to get stronger, it might be time to design a workout program where instead of lifting for maximum weight or reps each week, you will work up to those weights over a period of a month or so, and then exceed them the following week. This is where experience comes in - the experience of a fitness professional.
